Hello, I was on this site a long time ago but forgot my username, anyway it's been a long time for me. I just got this car and was wanting to replace the blown speakers that are currently in it. The car is a 1992 Lexus SC 400. The drivers side door speakers are 4". The rear deck speakers are 6 1/2". I listen to Hip Hop music, soul, classic, etc...really a wide range, but primarily hip hop.
My quick pickings found these, my budget is $200 as I need to put more money into a few car parts and restoration.
I was thinking JL Audio TR400 CXi 4" Speakers.(Sorry cant link I am new user)
And JL Audio C2-650X Evolution 6 1/2" Speakers.(Once again cant link)
I haven't done car audio in some time so my mind has faded, but I am BIG into music. Anyway the cars stock 10" subwoofer is no longer working, but I will probably throw a Kicker L5 in there in the future just not sure what to do yet, all I know is I need decent sounding music and I need it asap.
