Need help purchasing the right sub.

Long story short putting a system in my fiances car. I pieced things together I had laying around the house. So here we go. I have a dual ported box (Sub Zero VBD12G) And 2 alpine mono 500 watt (mrp-m500) all wired in and installed in the car. Now my issue is what kind of sub should i get to compliment this setup. From the listed components above you should be able to tell I'm not trying to get into anything crazy. Just a decent sound for the old lady. Any info helps.

you'll need to line match the amps first off. the the sundowns subs would good or some american bass xd subs will be good too.i can sell the ab subs or you can get the sundowns direct

Why do you need to line match and how, tried googling it could only find info on commercial store units- rookie here
