need help please

i have a 2006 jeep grand cherokee i have just installed a double din head unit and made sure it is wired all correctly. at first everything was working fine but then about 30 mins later i went to go to the store and the unit was on and had power and was working but now i cant hear anything from the speakers. i took it out and put the stock unit back in to test the sound and it all worked fine so i reinstalled the double din and everything worked fine again so i waited about 10-15 mins and checked again and now no sound. has anyone ever heard of a problem like this before ?

check factory amp
