need help picking out subs

ok so im on a real tight budget and need either 2 15s or an 18. hell even 2 12s would work. I picked up a AP3000d for $100 and i need something that will play nice with it. The subs i have now want nothing to do with this amp. I want to try and stay under 500 total (even lower would be nice) that being said i still want to be loud.

You could look at getting some HDC315s or 12s...

normally 1 sub is cheaper, so just look around for a nice 18"

Yeah, a single sub is normally the cheaper route.

What ohm load you looking to run the AP @?

have you even said how much space you have or what this is all going into? That might help too

its going into a ext cab pick up with the back seat taking out. and the only thing i have done is the big 3. i wan to to run either a 2 or a 1 ohm load

I think you shouldn't get that setup... I would spend that $400 on a high end 18"
