need help picking amp

ok, that 20.1 is def out of the question. i dont have the money for that amp. but about the md2. flakko told me that usamps made a mistake rating the amps, so the users manuals say they do lie 1500wx1 and 1800wx1 @100hz. so he sent me a PDF file of some document sent to his company from usamps stateing the correction in rating on the amp. it states itll do 1950x1 @1ohm. but flakko says its still underratted. that sounds good. and i can get a great deal on it too. but now im worried its gonna be too powerful. do you guys think ill damage my subs with that amp?

im also looking for 2-2.5kw amp to run my rl-p's. thought about the orion 2500d but i dont want to put more strain on my electrical system than i have to. thinking hard about the 20.1 but its pricey, i kind of want to stay under 600. thinking i may have to get something old school and used.

well id say 2500d all the way. of course all the orions ive used draw ALOT of current, but ive never used the new line. ive only ever used xtr and hcca. so i dunno if that still hold true with a 2500D.

yea voltage like use the freakin ummm... formula on that thread and find out the "V"

use the dmm and raise the gain till it reeads that number "V"

yeah i know. i remember its 17.3V /ch for my 300/4 and 52.4V for my 1000/1

I personaly wasnt not impressed with the newerline of orion and most people I have talked to have the same experiance.

i have heard that too but never experience it. but the old orion is some **** good shit.
