need help picking amp

ive decided to go back to my 2 L7s. but this time instead of like 1400w to them, i wanna give like 1700-2000w. i been talking to a few people. i got some1 suggesting the cadence z7000. and some1 suggesting usamps merlin md2. ok the guy who suggested the cadence said hed sell me 1 for 460 shipped and he seen 1 benched at high 12V doing like 1700-1800w. i did a little research on both and found a lot of info that says that the cadence amp not only wont put out more than 1500w, but its also not worth more than ~$300. i asked the guy about this, he said it was about the old z7000. and as for the merlin, i couldnt find hardly any freaking info on it. i can get the merlin for $580. so what do you guys think?

which 1 should i choose? or suggest me another high end amp that'll put out 1700-2000w. thanx

You can buy my kicker sx 1250.1 I know someone running one at .5 and doing well over 2k and birth is like high 1400 but i dont remember how there rated. But very very nice amp all digital with remote bass knob as well. Has memory features tells temps volts history of the amp how many hrs it has been used etc.

nah thats quite alright. cause thats what i was running on my l7s b4. lol i want more powa!!!

Did you have the sx like mine or a kx theres a huge diffrence in them

ok, you got me, i had the kx, but i know for a fact that the kx puts out 1400w. even if the kx dont go down to .5ohm, i wouldnt do it anyways

Do some reading about the sx, I have not really checked on the numbers etc but i did use the kx before and there is so much more power out of this sx compared to it. I am off to bed but just figured I want to sell it and you are using kickers anyways lol. And the price is great 400 plus ship

I just thought kicker benched at 12 and if this is doing almost 1500 at 12 its got to have good numbers with more power

well you said 1400, and you never said a V. see my kx did 1400 at 13.8

so yeah, sounds like an sx is a better amp, but i still want like 1700-2000w
