need help picking a car!!!

ok well right now i have a 1993 Chrysler concorde v6. but soon like in a month or two i am going to be looking for a newer vehicle and i need help and suggestions on what are reliable cars and good on gas and stuff like that! i REALLY am lookin more for an suv or hatchback!

my mom is also helping get this vehicle so yea i was thinking maybe a hatchback jetta or something in the lines of that what are some suggestions!
