Need help on wireing my 6x9 rear speakers....

Hey guys,

So, I am completely new to spearkers / car audio. I have a 2003 pontiac grand am GT and have already installed a Aftermarket Headunit. My rear speakers just blew so I bought new ones but I have no idea how to wire them.

I got a pair of Rockford fosgate 6x9's to replace the stock ones.

The system in my car is called a monsoon system. Dont know if that makes a difference. So, Right now I have a empty speaker holder with some wires in a clip coming out of it....

So, Could anyone help me out? Where do I go from here?

could you take a picture of it and post it? think that would help us see what your working with

If you have a monsoon system you will not be able to just replace the speakers. If I remember correctly they are a lot like the Bose setup and run low ohm speakers to make more power so dropping a 4 ohm speaker in will not work well on the OEM amp.
