Need help on what watt Amplifier to buy

I have a question about two systems, if I have a pair of 800 watt RMS 2" 4 layer ASV voice coil subwoofers what watt amp should i run, and if I have a pair of 400 watt RMS 2" 4 layer ASV voice coil subwoofers what amp should i run with them? Answers and ideas very appreciated.

Uhh, well if they are truly rated at 4 and 800wRMS power handling, then get something that can provide 1600wrms to the pair of 800 watters and something that can provide 800wrms to the pair of 400watters.

what ohm are they and are you gonna run 2 dfferent sets of woofers in the same car?

That model number, and the ASV coils sound like they are from a loaded bandpass Audiobahn box, correct me if thats wrong.. But they are 4 ohm coils.

And I would not feed them their rated power, maybe 2/3 of it..

I would get something around 1200w RMS that will put out its power at 2 ohms.

lol, youre a fast one.

Since they are single, you can wire them down to two ohms or up to eight ohms, I would recommend 2. Maybe a JBL BP1200.1. You can find them pretty cheap and they put out rated power. So you could send each sub roughly 600-700w a piece.
