need help on the design of this cooler stereo

I have this cooler and I was wanting to put atleast 2 regular speakers and a 8" sub, i currently have a cooler stereo for floating but i want this one to take to the pool or on a boat so i just want it to be extremely loud. what size speakers and brand would you recommend and also where should they be placed.

obviously the sub should go on the top right? would i need to put anything in the inside to reduce vibration so it doesnt sound like crap?

im guessing ill need an amp and either a car or lawn mower battery to run this right? im not really familiar with wiring amps to speakers so how would i wire this thing?

I say the easiest thing to do would be to fill that cooler with beer instead of speakers.

lolol... anyways i don't know on what to do with the cooler but i'd put kicker speakers in there :X

I think its a **** good idea. What are you running it off? 12v or 110v? Look at partsexpress.com for some speakers...

It pretty common around here. Very popular at tailgate parties, and at pools. Never seeen a sub used though.

the one i have right now is running off a lawnmower battery with 165 cranking amps, but if im going to run 2 speakers a sub, amp and head unit, ill prob need to either get one with more cranking amps or just use a regular car battery. which one do you think would work best?
