I have a honda 2003 accord le. I will be putting in 6/9 sonys explode powerd by a alpine t320 2 channel amp , 6 1/2 sony ,+ kicke rr22 tweeters power by a alpine f340 4 channel amp. I so far have a rockford 1000bd mono amp that was going to power 2 10in powre stage 1 subs but was going to switch to 2 hx2 orions. My installer said that 1 the orions were not that great and 2 that all I would get is straight base and not clear base because they are competion subs. I didnt want to put 4 amps in to power 2 subs and found that phoenix golg has a 3000 watt amp at 2 ohms. I would like any opinion on this because I dont plan on entering any shows but dont want to put subs that are so so if I can put subs that really rock not that rockford makes bad stuff I never had any problems with my old subs by RFOSGATE MY biggest concern is my alternator , that i dont want to destroy it I would like some unbias opinion not coming from a dealer looking to sell his stuff. Would be greatful for any help on this
