aight i need a quick fix, i had my box n **** and my bro cut the hole in it and put the type r in it, and the hole was to big , i hooked it up to my bx1500d tonight and it made a weird noise and thats what the problem is, whats a quick way i can fix it?

build new face on the box with a smaller hole. or use wide weatherstripping(provided it's not so wide as to not even have the screws go into the wood)

what kind of noise are we talking about?

go ahead and try to cut the existing hole large enough so that you can fit the outer diameter of the sub through it, then afix a piece inside the box (you can do this with two pieces if you have to then join them together inside the box that the sub can mount to. it will give it a flush mount design and you can screw it into place from the front to brace it tight to the back of the front of your box. use glue aswell. you have your fix......
