need help on line converter on 2001 300c

[iowaaurora 10+ year member]

i got a buddy coming over whith his 300 c and wants to install a sub and amp but leave his factroy stereo (infinty option)

where would i splice into the factroy wire to get the best sound

i have heard direcetly behide stereo will get a cleaner sound then at the rear speaker

any input on this would be helpfull

and i already try talking him into a rf 360 or something simler but he has a rf line out that was in his last car and does not want to waste a bunch of money because the car will be for sale in a few months
