Need help on choosing a nav/dvd receiver

I currently have the avic n3, i bought it online because i saw my friends d3 and i thought it would be the same, boy was i wrong, its screen in not responsive and the ipod interface is horrible and slow. i would definitely get a double din if i could but i cant with my car.

so any suggestions? most important to me is the ipod interface.

and it has to be a single din.
