need help matching 2 subwoofers with my 1500watt class d crunch amp

i have blown up 2 sets of lanzar 1600 max pro subs.I was trying to find some subs that are not that expensive but will also be very reliable as well. Right now i am looking at the infinity reference speakers 1262's which are 1200 peak watts and peak power rms rating is 300and they are dual voice coils.do you think this is a good match if not give suggestions

No they obviously wouldn't make a good match. Max rating means nothing rms is what you look for so two 300 rms sub equal 600 rms and your amp will run them fine at 4 or 2 ohms but I'm assuming you are going to want to run the amp for max power at 1 ohm which these subs cannot handle. I would try sundown sa12, the skar vvx, soundsolutions icon as for subs that won't break the bank and will get loud on that power; assuming you set the amp right and have a good custom box.

i would do one 15" type r, or any other 15 that can take the power at 1 ohm and put in a well designed/built ported box. or keep buying cheap subs that blow up. I suggest the type r because you can get them for under 200 on ebay

Type r will get stinky if he turns his gain up much though, and judging on his original post he doesn't know how to set the gain. So he would definitely need some higher power subs if he's just going to clip the crap out of them

true lol , but i dont know if he is looking to spend the $ on subs that will take that clipped signal all day . Whats your budget op?
