Well considering how theres' many builders here on the forum, i was wondering if i could use your opinions. I recently got a 70 lbs heavy bag that measures 14 in wide and 42 in Height.
I decided that basically i want to build a stand to hold it up using wood but there are several factors that come into play.
- Will the wood be strong enough to hold the 70 lbs bag?
- Will it fall if i put the bag on it?
- Will it fall if i start punching it?
- The stand has to be somewhat small and compact in width
Heres a picture of 2 designs i came up with (sorry drawings, ignore the numbers)
Lastly, as a last (and probably simple) resort i could post it up on my ceiling but that is something i dont want to do because my house is somewhat old and i dont want it caving in on me.
