Need Help, Kicker Vs SSL

It blows my mind how your suppost to setup the gain and all that, for years I was taught that the gain=volume so i never googled how to setup gain cause I thought I already new how to, boy was I wrong lol

So I try telling all my friends how to properly setup gains and everyone always looks at me like I'm a ******* lol.

OP btw listen to these guys they know alot about this ****.

RMS Power Rating:4 ohms: 202 watts x 2 chan.

2 ohms: 250 watts x 2 chan.

Bridged, 4 ohms: 500 watts x 1 chan.

I would start with a new amp and a new box built to spec. Your subs are fine.
soooo.... if i have 2 4 ohm subs which can take 250w

and the amp delivers 202w @ 4 ohms,

cant i turn the amp all the way up?

No, read the gain setting tutorial here to better understand what gain is. "All the way up", could be halfway with the gain, hell with some head units, you may be able to have gain completely off to get complete output. Also, your subs wire to 2 ohms, that amp is not stable at 2 ohms. You need new stuff, period. You have poor equipment, and even worse than that, you have incompatible equipment.
