I just blew my current 2 12" L7 subs 04 model( so no warranty left). I want to replace them but for 2 new 12" L7's I'm looking at about $300-350 new. I was thinking of going that way since I could use my same box. But I'm hearing alot of things about these FI Q's and I wanted to know how would they compare to the L7's? I would probably go with 1 15" Q in a sealed box for a 03 Maxima. Which setup to you guys think is better?

Personally, I'd go with the Q's, but that's only because they're more forgiving musically //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Not saying the L7 can't be made to sound good, it just wouldn't be my first choice.

If you're looking to just get loud, throw out everything I said and go with the Kickers.

what box is the L7's in and how much power do you have? With the Q you'd have a cool 15" driver, but you may have less output, depending on the power and what box the L7's were in...a toss to good either way changing to the 06 L7's or the Q.

I have a ported box and it's about 3 cu ft. I have a jbl 1200.1 going to them. I was just at my local shop and they are trying to get me to buy a Orion 15.2. I know the fad right is to buy the Fi Q, but I'm a little worried since the last time I was on these forums. The big thing was Brahma, DD and RE now I don't hear anyone buying these and they are now selling them. I just don't want to buy a Fi Q and a year from now it be gone and no customer support if something goes wrong.

Can you explain to me how you know this? I mean I don't knock anyone but their subs are to cheap to keep them at that price for too long without raising. But when they raise people will buy a lot less of them. Can someone tell me what happened to Brahma?

If FI goes down the drawn, the world will come to a end //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

but seriously... Scott made the company the way it is, so that he would be able to keep to up and running like he wants, and dont hafta worry about problems.

Ford302Redneck,

Okay, how long has Fi been around. Didn't the guy that started it come from RE? How is the build quality of the sub I see you have one?

Its been around 4-5th months I believe, thats actually selling subs. Yes, Scott was one of the owners of RE, and head Engineer I believe. As far as build quality, Id say its 2nd to none.
