Need Help for Buying Speakers*I dont know much about this stuff*

X20D would be a decent choice. The X40 was reviewed in the newest CA&E and it produced slightly more power than what it's rated at. Got good marks all around.

Another option would be the Pioneer Premier PRS-D2000. I auditioned the 720PRS comps running of this amp and I was very impressed.

If you want to save a lot of money and don't mind refurb and can live with a larger amp, check out the Kicker KX450.2

For the speakers also... are those front or back speakers. Whatever the one it is not could you recommend me one. Also are those amps in the picture and are they included? The box rectangle objects.

You'll want to put the RSD65cs (the comps you linked) up front. So tell ya what... focus on your front and sub stages right now and don't worry about the rears for now.

Once you get the front and sub stages tuned and blended, try it that way for a while. If, after a few weeks, you still want rears, get some REV coaxes and run them off the HU.

Those are the passive crossovers which send the appropriate frequencies to the mids and the tweeters. The amp will be supplying the signal to those, then the signal will be sent to the mids and tweeters.

My dad would like to know why you cant just run the front speakers powered by the radio instead of the amp. I know that you can run them with the radio, but I am sure you have a good reason for having the amp.

Because components need the power to live up to the full potential, and sound their best

Not amping them is like starving them, you can run them off a HU, as you can with any speaker, but amping them will bring out life and full potential in a speaker

Also if you want to spend less than 100 on the amp, check out Profile amps, on millionbuy.com

Exactly. And let's not forget about clarity. A HU will typically distort a signal in the neighborhood of 5% at a much lower volume when using the built in amps as opposed to an external amp, which is 1% distortion or less.

If I go to look at the less than 100 dollar ones will they still be good because I dont even know wattage I would need besides the recommendations from Dejaiwz
When shopping for speakers and amps, disregard the Peak or Max power ratings. RMS or Continuous is what you want to look at.

Almost all speakers can take more RMS power than what they are rated for, as long as the signal is clean, meaning undistorted and unclipped.

For example: the RSd65cs comps are rated for 2x60w rms, but a lot of people are running them with upwards of a celan 2x150w rms to unleash the full potential of the midwoofers.

Another example: I recently auditioned the Treo TSX comps. They are rated for 2x100w rms, but the shop owner was running them off 2x240w rms!

Yet another example: I also auditioned the Pionner 720PRS comps, which are rated for 2x50w rms. The midbass really came out when they were running off a 2x150w rms amp

I'd probably give the X20D a whirl, but if you want something more budget-minded, the Profile AP1000. They are a smidge overrated, but it'll come close to what it's rated for (expect about 145-150w rms).

Here's a whole 'nother option: use the Rockford 2 channel you have for front speakers and once you figure out what kind of Kicker subs you have, get an appropriate Class D amp for them.

If you don't want to get comps afterall and would rather get the REV coaxes for the fronts, they can also be purchased from millionbuy if you decide to go with the Profile amp.
