Need help fixing old RF 500a2

Hey, long time watcher first time poster.

I need help fixing my old school Fosgate 500a2. It powers up and the left side works. The right does not. I can't get any sound from the right. When I bridge it does not work either.

Help! I don't even know where to start.

i dont think the a2 is bridgeable my 150a2 isn't.

sounds like it could be a terminal problem? maybe it broke free from the board

, i have a 150a2 if you are interested in running matching amps for speakers(not trying to post dump it really is in mint condition though, i just want it to go to somebody that can appriciate it),

op is it the old black and silver one? it is bridgable, prob the channel blown. can you open it up and put up gut pics?

I opened and saw nothing aperant. Definitely no blown capacitors. Are you sure this amp is not bridgable?

I will post gut pictures later. Can someone help me use my volt meter on it?

caps wouldn't be blown. fets would be

What's a fet look like? Where do I start? Where dies the path split for the two channels?

Fets run along the sides mount to board with three silver prongs usually rectangular and black

How do I know if it is blown? There are a lot of them, how do I test them and where do I start? On the end? Do they blow like caps?

The silver prong should be blackened where its soldered to the board. Might be something else though

They all visually look good. What's the next thing I should check? I have another amp like this one where the fet almost cought fire, so I'm going to use it for donation parts, because it won't even turn on.

What do I check after the fets?

Honestly if you don't know what you're doing in this case, just send it to an amp repair guy. It might cost as much as the amp is worth, but you'll need to desolder some components and replace them with new parts.

I Would like to do it myself. I can't send it away, not my style. Can someone help me diagnose it. I have extensive soldering experience since I mess w rc helis. I have some electrical experience just messing w things over the years.

I think I can figure it out especially w some help from the forum!
