Need help finding out what model JL sub this is?

So I just finally decided to take my sub to get reconed, and I'm trying to figure out what model this is. This was given to me used by my wife's uncle almost 15+ years ago so I doubt he would remember what model this would be. Also is it even worth it to get it reconed, or should I just purchase a new sub?

yeah.. one of the lower end models for sure

there's some oldschool guys who love them but the recone price.. idk 50-100 if you can even find one. a new sub will be the same price

New sub for sure. However, refoam kits are fairly cheap on ebay if your wanting to do it yourself.

Post a pic of the magnet if you could. Hard to tell if it's the w4, w6, w1, w0, etc.

Thanks guys for your help. Yeah was looking to upgrade my sub and amp. I've read some issues about CT Sounds and their amps and how he burned some people, but just wondering how their subs and speakers are.

Oh also, same w/ Skar Audio's subs, speakers and amps. Any feedback on their equipment. Thanks.
