Need HELP finding a cristmas present

If anyone can help me out I can't for the life of me find a 1978 chevy malibu 1/18 scale dicast car. My dad collects these and has nearly 200 or so. He has a real1978 malibu drag car but can't find it in a 1/18 scale model. Price is not an issue.

There has always been a difference between the Impala and Malibu. The Impala was a larger car.

My dad had a '67 Malibu with the Rat 427. He has a '71 Olds 442 now we are almost finished restoring.

You aren't finding them because they don't exist, and the reason for the is because it's a 1978!!! It's the same reason you can't buy a 1/18 diecast 1994 Geo Metro...

I doubt one has ever been made. If I where you I'd start collecting #'s to actual manufactures and calling. See if it's ever been made, if it has start calling warehouses and seeing if one is sitting in the corner collecting dust.
