Hi guys,
I have recently started work on the stereo system in my 1979 camaro. I have all the interior disassembled including carpet so now is the best time to tackle this. I have recently installed Sony Xplod speakers in the rear. They are two 250w max power, 50WRMS?, at 4 ohms. I will be putting in two smaller speakers in the front of the center console, 100w, 50w rms, 4 ohms:
6.5 in. 2-Way Speakers (Pair) by Dual Electronics - Part DS653/DS652 - Advance Auto Parts
My receiver is a pioneer deh-245 35w x 4. I don't know much about this stuff but it seems to me that those four speakers will be way to big for that deck. So is it worthwhile to drop this amp in :
300W Class A/B 2-Channel Bridgeable MOSFET Amplifier by Dual Electronics - Part XPA2100 - Advance Auto Parts
Is it worth the 70 dollars plus wires? Will I see a bid difference? Any info helps a lot. Thanks!
