hey guys, im just trying to piece together a budget system for a boat, and would like some input from yall.

i need to decide on an amp that is cheap, and will power a few powerhorns that i have laying around. the power horns are 100w radioshack powerhorns and will be just used for playing music so we can hear it on the beach when we anchor the boat and come onto shore. i will probably only use 2 of the horns (theyre really loud) because i think anything more than that will be excessive.

i am really just asking, will a regular 4ch or 2ch amp power these powerhorns and what is a good budget amp to do so with?

clarity etc is not as much of a concern because the powerhorns are not exactly SQ speakers, theyre just made to get loud.

any suggestions?

ok so ive given it a lot of thought and talked to the better half, and ive decided to go all out on it. i really want to try to put 4 coaxials inside and another 2-4 outside (2 on lower deck and 2 on top deck) but i have some concerns. 1- can i use a strong 4ch amp and power 2 speakers off each channel? and what would be some good speakers to use for this endeavor? the 4 inside the boat im not too concerned about being marine grade unless yall think its important, but the 4 outside i would like to be marine grade so i dont end up having to replace them too soon. size is not an issue cause i will be cutting all the holes, so what would be the loudest/cheapest, and still sound ok in the area of speakers?
