hay guys me and my best friend just bought and 88 bronco from my parents and want to turn it into a bass racer so basically im looking for some place that does discounts on multiple subs.

we originally wanted to run 16 12" type r's with our 4 orion 2500d but i cant find a place that can work out a deal on 16 type r's

looking for dual 4 or 1 and about 500 rms a piece.

anyone know where i can find such things?

why dont you just do 4 18s with more power? i dont see the need in 16 12s but maybe thats me...

buddy wants to do something different and wants to see if we can get it loud.

anyone know where i can find some type r's for about 100 a piece? or something else that would work need either a 1 ohm or .5 ohm load per 4 subs

why does everyone ask how much a woofer can take or always ask if there 500rms woofer can take 5,000rms. a very efficient 500 watt sub is better than a very inefficient 5000 watt sub!!!!

just asking if they can take 500 watts i was to lazy to look so i asked

Id say go for a compromise... Go with something like 8 nicer woofers, ported. Something like 8 RE SXs, Fi BLs, SS T5s, etc with about 1,200rms each ported would be killer.
