Need help choosing an EQ

hey sorry im new to this...anyways i have a pioneer premiere deh-p880prs...i was going to go active but decided to go with passive components for now on all 4 stock locations (front and rear)...i have an audison lrx 1.400 powering a 12" soundsplinter rlp...and two audison lrx 2.250 powering mb quart qsd's for the front and rear...

my question is...is it worth buying an external EQ?

i was thinking of getting either the audiocontrol three.1 or four.1....

if is worth getting an eq, which one should i get? thanks!

don't do it... the 880prs offers more eq than the audiocontrol units you mentioned...if you are going to do it, go all out and et like a rf 3sixty.2...or something in that line...

hmm i was kinda wondering about that because i read that my hu has a 16 band eq...i only asked because my freind works for a car audio shop and said i needed one...i wanted to get one was cuz of the built in line driver....is there any standalone line driver out there u guys recommend? thanks

lol I think 16-band is more than enough.
