Need help building a computer.

Abuse of power he can talk all he wants but when someone talks back he bans ha!
proof?

barebone kits are pointless for this guy because he knows nothing about how to install stuff. this is the same guy that was asking about how to sell perscription drugs to make some cash.

there are plenty of resources online that will guide you how to do it and do it right. just like any other hobby, you're probably going to have to do a lot of research first, and learn by trial and error. i've built a desktop before; it's a fun and rewarding process (too bad all of Bertha's components are obsolete now). i don't know what made you decide to ask here though lol
he wants them to bile it for him sooooo where's his diy spirit?????

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/youreawesome.gif.a27e190c662afa8e2be5686b27bd1659.gif!! Help me Please?!Oh and i know nothing about oveerclocking but dont want to ruin my shiz,
It's not all that difficult, you just need to get comfortable with the different settings in the Bios, playing with the voltages and clock speeds to the best (yet most stable) result. I'm not going to go into detail as to how this is done since this is the internet and there's already a million resources out there that detail it. When your looking at processors just check the reviews, a lot of people post what kind overclocking results they've gotten and that will give you a good idea on what your shooting for.

The hardest part is the CPU/Mobo. I mean you pick the RAM based on what the mobo can handle, get a decent sized PSU, this depends on what graphics card you get but I believe mine is only 420w and it powers my rig which also has like 8 fans on it. As far as a graphics card goes, basically just pick your side (Nvidia or ATI) then decide how much you want to spend, it's just a price vs. performance compromise.

step 1. go to best buystep 2. buy a computer

step 3. drink beer with all the extra time and think about all the money you just wasted
fix'd that for ya //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

meh its easier
But definitely not cheaper...That's like saying going to a car audio shop and paying $2k for an install of $500 worth of equipment is "easier". Well sure it's easier but you waste a ton of money and lose the satisfaction of doing it yourself...

BTW, OP I forgot to factor in the operating system and monitor to my original price estimate...probably another $100 for a decent monitor and well....technically Windows costs money but not if you look in the right place //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Don't forget a GOOD keyboard and GOOD mouse, it makes a hell of a difference if your gaming.

i got a pretty good deal on my laptop. gotta know how to work them. i used to work at best buy and the guys in the computer section have a lot of leeway in the deals they give out.

It depends on what your looking for. Obviously it's not that easy to build your own laptop (if even possible) so your kind of stuck buying a prebuilt one. But if you want any kind of gaming computer you need to look somewhere else, the stuff Best Buy sells isn't made for that...

yeah i guess i havent bought a tower in awhile. the last one i got from some mexican in a parking lot. bnib $200 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

^^^^^ what? lol I would personally always build one before buying a shit one for any place. Yeah you can say your computer is badass and so on but mine would run circles around yours any day and if you bought my computer that was already built it would cost you probably 1000 more. So you continue buying your crappy pre built comps. wahahhaha I will continue you PWNING NOOBS like yourself
