NEED HELP! Amps going into protect

I switch out the 2 4" Lanzar 4 ohm mids for some 2 6.5" 4ohm PWX mids, now my strapped skar 2500s go into protect when I turn the volume up on the mids. I have a clarion eqs746 and when I turn off the mids with the fader, the amps work fine, but soon as I turn up the mids the skars go in to protect. Does anybody have any idea what's going on?

Dc power Xp270

2 Shuriken bt60 and a bt20

The amps will go into protect when the sub is not playing.

Oh well, that changes things. Sounds like one of your mids is causing a load on it's amp which is in turn, causing a load on your electrical. Check speaker wiring to make sure you've not pinched a wire and that none are shorting to ground.
