sorry for 2 posts about the same subject... and thank you to every dude who has replied to me in the past... anyways.. like i said i got a kenwood kac-729S 600 watt amp.... and im tryin to find the best sub for me(mtx thunder4000's = sux) lol.. ive heard alot of recomendations... but most of the subs people mention to me on here, cannot be found in usual electronic stores audio places....(circuit city etc).... a place around here DOES sell JL w3's.. but the things are ****in like 200 a peice.... way to pricey... i want somethin good but not to high on the budget, and SOMETHING that can be found in a local store, not bought on the internet....

so what subs, do i get??? lol

ones ive seen... alpine type-E's... alpine type-r's... polks... etc.... i have no clue what sub i can find AROUND here that will give a decent bass sound that other people can hear outside the car.... thx alot guys... help verry appreciated...

just go with the type Rs. u will find those at circuitcity and out of the list u mentioned theyr the best.

and by the way some info that might be helpfull:

most people round this forums dont like showoffs, people who bump irresponsably, ricers and they dont like shopin at a local store because u can find everything for cheap off the internet. (so try not to mention any of those things in any further posts)

as for the bumping around town, its nor really cool u know, the best u can do is drive around with the volume level high, but not all the way up, then if some other kid is driving with their shit system on, just look at him, laugh, say: heh, punk kid, and then turn up ur shit to piss him off and show him whos the man. lol

these threads crack me up, when they want a system so people can hear it outside of their car. what good does that do? you get horrible rattling and in the long run, it will just get your stereo stolen.

because all of the punks @ schools try and have the loudest system, the most riced out car, and, basically.. make big ***** of themselves to people who actually enjoy car audio for what it is.

:edit: i am a highschooler, but i'm no showoff, although it is nice to show some kids what a nicer system sounds like.

There is a kid who goes to my school, and every day 8th period (last), he blasts music so that his headphones are so loud that you can hear him from 20 ft. away, the music even sounds like crap beause he's got Jensen headphones that are distorting like crazy.
