I Need an amp on 2 Diamond TDX 15" ol school Subs any suggestions??? I recently had a hifonics brutus 2006d on the woofers, but unfortunately the amp blew. I need something that is just ridiculous outta control that will beat. The amp that was hooked up to these woofers is in a 89 hatchback civic with an 8 cu ft. ported enclosure. I was looking at some amps such as the Orion 2500d and 2 earthquake PHD5000 amps one to each woofer. well let me know and if there is something better than hell, let me know. thanks

hey, i was thinkin about something way more powerful than than the diamond 1500.1 the hifonics was 2000 watts @ 1ohm. The woofers I have are dual 4ohm speakers. So I really want something to make em pound. If they were 2ohm stable and put out 1500 watts then I woulda defiently have got a couple but there not, so this is why im interested in the amps I listed or anything that seems better. any other suggestions?

Orion 2500D is what I used to run on my 2 12"TDXs it was no prob...

15s like you have can and will handle even more than a 2500D can toss at them

Sadly that simply isn't true.

so what amp or amps should i power them with then??? I like really want them to knock and if hifonics were bad then, i wonder what a true 2500 watts or any power would do....

i would just get a 1500.1 diamond amp, that shit will hit hard, 1 12inch tdx and a 1500.1 is loud and ****ing sounds great

i run mine on a nine 1. and sometime i get the burn smell if i bump really hard, so watch your gains. I'd say 1200 is good enough per side
