Need amp sugestions for powering 2 L7 12"s Please..

I need to know what would be a good amp to push to Kicker L7 12" subs.. and should I get 2-Ohm or 4-Ohm DVC's? How should I wire them for the best performance? Thanks....Hmm after a little reasearch i see alot of people saying to get 4 ohm subs and wire them into a single 1 ohm load...So I guess i should look for a 1 ohm stable mono amp..What watt range should I be looking for? How about a Hi phonics Brutus BXi 2006D???

Is that really going to be enough? I read somewhere they said to shoot for about 2000 watts.. But I have no clue so I will take your word for it.. Any one else have a suggestion or agree/disagree with zeuolaxxx?? Thanks..
