Plus, when looking at the actual bench numbers on one of the Kenwoods, the 9104D I think, it didn't even make rated power! 644 watts was the most they could squeeze out of it and that amp was rated to do 900 watts RMS @ 2 ohms.

Serious, the person im getting the DD sub from is giving me the DD amp (m1) for $500, i was jsut wondering if i can get a amp that is good as or better than m1 and will not hurt my pockets lol

SAZ-1500D, don't turn it up too high, it will do less than 1200rms if you set the gain all the way down... LOL....

For real go for the M1, why not have it match your sub.... The DD amps have very pretty heatsinks.

You don't have any SAE 1200Ds yet? I thought they were tested way over what hes asking for as well, and way into his budget.. I thought i remember that putting out a lot more than its rated for in testing..

I can sell him a new one. There was one that came in for refurbishing so far, and it sold within a couple days. If I had to pick I would go with the SAZ-1500D. It's a better amp and does more than rated also. We are sold out of SAZ-1500D refurbs at the moment, and SAE-1000D refurbs. What can I say, they sell like "hotcakes".
