Need amp for 2 alpine type R 10" 2ohm DVC subs. Help?

I'm new to all this guys, so any help would be great. They're both rated at 500w with a peak of 1500w a piece. I was thinking maybe a 1200 watt amp for a bit of headroom, but don't know very much about ohm loads and all that. Looking for mid-line stuff, probably gonna buy off ebay. This is my first post btw so hello all!

hey man look into getting an orion 1200d, i had one of those in my last set up! aka 2 type r. it ran the 2 (12inch type r) no problem, i put nearly 700rms to each sub! with just one orion 1200d!

you can also looking into geting a kicker kx 1200.1, or even a umm crap the name espaces me right now... an amp that is blue! lol! sorry!

but ya all the same look into those and don't waste your money on ebay shyt like a BOSS amp (those are selling on ebay for really cheap)

like i say they are cheap only use if you can't find a good named one as an orion or kicker! an orion 1200d goes for 225-275 shipped on average some times higher! actualu jsut look on this forum for amps for sale!

Alpine MRD M1005 will work nicely, very nice, kinda old, so you should be able to find it cheap
