Im almost pretty sure it doesnt matter since the mavericks will win it anyways and im not just saying that to be a dick but phx, det, and miami do not match up with the mavericks too fast and too deep. yeah that almost f'ed it up against san antonio but they still did it.....If san antonio would won I would have said the same thing they phx and det wouldnt beable to match up with them either

Phoenix has a better chance of beating the Dallas than do the Pistons. That's if the Mavs allow themselves to play into the Suns hands. The Mavs are a run n gun team, but not as fast paced as the pistons, they don't have the great 3 pt shooting the suns have.

LMAO.....Nobody is picking them yet they are favored by 5 1/2. You really have no clue. I'm not saying Miami is going to beat them, but I just don't see them beating the Mavs. I will say that if the same Pistons team shows up that just played a 7 game series with the Cavs, that Miami will run them over.

I can also remember a few years ago when NO ONE thought the Pistons could beat the Lakers. But they were one lucky 3 pointer by Kobe away from a freakin' sweep.

at the begining it was all detroit now that they went 7 nobody is picking them. i listened to mike and mike pn espn radio and they both picked miami, and scottie pippen picked miami.

It's kind of funny, because it happens all the time. The media HATES the pistons, and I just don't get it. Watch a game and listen to the commentary, it's really kind of sad.

You know I'm not from Indy beeyatch. I never said the heat were going to win, it's going to be a tight series. But if the Pistons don't tighten up, they can easily loose it. The heat and D-wade are more hungry than the Pistons. That shit last year left a knot in there stomach.

One thing you WEST fans always fail to realize is that when a team like Detroit dictates the tempo that speed goes right out the window. And the Mavs are no deeper than the Pistons so don't even try that BS.

Poor? Last time I checked he gets praised for his defense. He's 6th in the league in steals and avg's close to a block per game. Apparently you don't pay much attention. All you people from Michigan think the Pistons are the greatest. They've only won one championship, when and if they get two, then you can start talking. On to your analysis of the game. First of all, Shaq won't be defending Rasheed, and Miami rarely goes with both Shaq and Zo at the same time. Besides the fact, you want to talk about having a "star" on your bench, well what the hell do you think Zo was? Zo was much better than Mcdyess was. Not to mention his defensive capabilities are much better than Mcdyess. See the problem with Detroit this year is there coach sucks balls. A larry brown led Pistons team would not have gone 7 games against the Cavs, and they would have swept the Bucks. Miami is just getting better as the playoffs go on.

There is always next year. Also how does Detriot coaches **** balls? They are in the championship game yet again and most likely will be going to the Finals. Then had the most wins in franchise history! You're bringing up a Lakers team that had "issues". They clearly weren't the same team that won rings the past few years. If you don't agree with that there is something wrong with you. Not to take anything away from the Pistons, they did win and quite easily, but it just wasn't the same team. Clearly shaq isn't what he used to be either.

Pistons....fast paced? What the hell are you talking about? The pistons are a very slow paced team, with the occasional spurt to catch you off guard and pull ahead. Their strategy and success is centered around offensive efficiency and defense, not racking up the score as fast as possible.
