Navi/DVD HU

What 6.5" or 7" Navi/DVD HU would u guys recommend im really not trying to spend more than about 700-800 dollars but i really want a nice unit so if i have to spend a little more that would be ok..i have a 1988 cadillac deville but that really doesnt matter because im goin to have a custom dash any way

I sell alpine, kenwood and pioneer at work, and have an alpine in the car, and a kenwood int he truck. Out of the three, I like the kenwood the best in terms of nav. They all have quirks in terms of use, and the d3 from pioneer has the largest buttons. The alpine is the more expensive option, but if does have to option for a great sound processor. IMO, I would get to a shop and play with all the ones that you can and see what you like.

ive been lookin around and i think i like that Alpine W505 but that 1000 is a little steep but i think it well worth it but im still looking

Great unit, with an awesome display. Nav can be added through the bbII or the nve-n872 hide away unit. It also has good processing options with the imprint stuff or the 701. It just comes down to what's more important.
