n00b question

[krispy cream 10+ year member]

i bought a pair of type-r's wired down to 1 ohm...so that means they are both dual 4 ohm subs wired in parallel. what amp should i purchase at a reasonable price to power these babies up?

An amp stable at 1ohm....There are plenty good ones in the classified section at reasonable prices..............
