Trust me, I don't mind smartass remarks from those that would show me up in a heartbeat, and plenty here would. I am a basic noobiphile to most people here. It wasa basic install and Qdingledouchetip doesn't even have anything to write home about in the skills dept, So in my book he has no room to bust anyones balls.

don't worry about people who call shit ghetto....I lost count of how many people tell me my installs ghetto because i just sat a big *** box right on my back seat in an extended cab truck. they sure stfu when i let them hear it though. If it pleases you, who cares what they think.

the trim has room under it for the simple fact that wires are meant to be run under it. if wire was run under the carpet there are going to be lumps that are pretty noticable depending on guage. anyway, nice install, looks good.

Most carpet floats for the most part. I have 1/0 underneath carpet in my GTO and it doesn't show. There is also no way in hell 1/0 is fitting in my trim.
