Ok heres the story.

Setup has run briliantly for 6 months then last week I decided to take out my box and carpet it. Upon reconnecting I managed to send my sub amp (MMATS 2100.1) into protect mode. I pulled it out and had it fixed.

Now after reinstalling the amp, at a reasonable volume the amp cuts out and goes into protect. After a off/on cycle of the engine it resets and plays again until I turn it back up.

My voltage never drops below 13v. I have checked all the grounds. As far as I know the sub is not blown(Jugg 15").

Any insite will help.

Is there any chance you shorted any of the wiring in the sub when carpeting it?

Try measuring the resistance of your subs with a DMM.

I have a seperate amp for my door speakers and it cuts out too. But if I unplug the subs rca's it will play at any volume.

Ok i figured it out. It is bad voltage drop. My MMATS is not regulated and I just need more juice.
