mount them close to the door handle or on the pillar up towards the top of your windshield.

Does that require fiberglass? I have absolutely no clue how to do it, and would have to take it to a shop.

In the pillars would be a nice spot, up near ear level if you can.

You don't necessarily need to do some custom FG work

well if ur truck doesnt have stock locations and you want the tweeters in im assuming you dont want it to look like *** so yes fiberglass might be used

is this about going from coax factory speakers to comp?

cause I can't think of a reason why a vehicle wouldn't have tweets

Yeah, my single cab F-150 has 5x8's in the front. How much would the glass work probably run me if I took it to a reputable shop and got the speakers installed at the same time?

I cut a hole in my door panel right up by the door handle. Used the flush mounts that came with the tweeter and worked out great.
