I went from my rl-p 12" in 2cube tuned to 28 hz to my tc3000 15 in 3.5 tuned @28 hz and i actually lost low end. both setups sre recieving 1000 watts rms. I dont totally feel the tc3k is underpowered. both boxes were built by same person. rl-p sounded amazing on the lows. could the large amount of trunk space lost be part of it? I actually gained some higher bass notes, but like i said, same box builder for both boxes, so i dont think its tuned higher. any thoughts?

lots of rl-ps for sale now fi is the boner, buy 1.

i think the space lost in the trunk might be your problem.

box in trunk = box in bigger box.

Could be your amp not liking the new impedance load, could be a vastly different Q alignment causing a different frequency response or it could be your 28Hz tune is really not accurate. Or something else...

email us and we'll walk you thru some trouble shooing tests.
