it has the specs on that page...Thats not it... It is in the phantom series which looks like this!
http://www.splaudio.ca/en/phantom.html
but it says it is 2000 watt and it is mono block class D!! I cant find the specs tho!
4 ohms does not mean 4 channels...thats just the resistance. the higher the resistance, the less power. When it says the max watts for 1 ohm, 2 ohm, or 4 ohm.. Why can it not hold as many watts at 4 ohm? Is it better to have a Mono amp or is it better to have many channels? After looking at the specs, are the two Alpine type Rs a good match for the amp?
Also, Im not getting a different amp for a long time probably, but is this amp any good? Or is it atleast a decent amp?
Thanks!
iif they were 2 dual 2 ohms, its wired down to 0.5 ohmshttp://cgi.ebay.com/2-ALPINE-SWR-1222D-12-SUBWOOFERS-TYPE-R-NEW-3000W-SUBS_W0QQitemZ290217613349QQihZ019QQcategoryZ18803QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ShippingPayment
These are dual 2 ohm subs.. You said i need to get 2 4 ohm subs and wire to 1 ohm.. Would it not work if i had two 2 ohm subs and wired to one ohm?
Thanks
your amp can not handle .5ohmIf I had 2 dual 4 ohm subs would it be more power than if I get 2 dual 2 ohm subs ?
