My speakers play music without an amp??????

Well today I installed my kick panels and ID ctx 65cs in em....sound pretty good so far, but while installing I unhooked my sax 100.4 that powers my coaxials in the doors, and the front speakers play music with the amp not hooked up. NOW WTF?...Everything is rewired and the only wire hooked up to the speakers is some 12 gauge which is ran back to the amp. If I turn up the volume the speakers do get louder but are distorted. I'm guessing there is a pinched wire maybe?

Any ideas.

Also I hooked my ppi pc4400.2 up and ran it off the outputs on the sundown. I bridged the PPI to get 200x2 @4 ohm for the comps, and I put the rca in the left rear input, and the other in the right front input. Is that the correct way to hook it up while using the output rca off the sax 100.4?

only thing i can thing of is you left the wire to the h/u connected while connection the others to the amp.. and do they play music? or just noise
what wire? I'm not using any stock wires with the speaker wiring.

are you saying I should unhook a wire b4 hookin up an amp? Never did this:confused:

But yeah I'm dumbfounded on this. Left and right coaxials in front doors play music, not just noise, a distorted music:confused:

Slow down, take a deep breath, and try telling us that again.

It's pretty much what I typed....don't know how else to put it.

What could be causing my front coaxials to play music when the only the only thing they are hooked up to is my amp, which was unhooked at the time!!!!

So they were playin music even tho the amp was unhooked

are all the speaker terminals disconnected ?
yes I unhooked the speaker wires for the speakers, the amps remote wire, and rca's, an they still play

I think I'm gonna have to go back in and run some new wires and see what it does:crap:

It's not distorted music. That, sir, is the voice of God speaking to you! Listen closely and pay attention.

Return them to where ever you bought them and say they're playing music when they arent plugged in. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
