This is Mexico. This is where your speakers were made. They are Mexican speakers. Your state used to be part of Mexican territory, but now it is owned by America, not Spain.

This is Spain. Its on a separate continent. If your speakers were made here, then they would be Spanish. But they arent. Youre welcome for the geography lesson.

They may be of "Spaniard" descent, but most likely they are of... Mexican descent. There were people living there native to Mexico before the Europeans came. Theres also a good chance that they speak different types of Spanish.
