compression check will reveal rings if you put some oil in thur and the reading goes up, its rings. prolly rings. i know a few buddys who had the same problem with 1.5 and 1.6 honda motors with that many miles on them. drive it till it starts fouling the plugs. LOL. then takem out and cleanem and keep driving it.almost 170k 92 civic ex-s sedan
why?? lol those wont allow oil to seap into the combustion chamber just drip on the motor.Did u check the valve cover gaskets?
