I don't think insurance will cover it unless u already told them u have audio equipment or pay extra for it. Everythiing audio wise has to be bolted to the car and u have to have recipts showiing the purchase and price of everything.

I told them i dont have receipts but told them the brand/type of equipment that was stolen and as long as i pay my deductible its covered... State Farm ftw! Theyre sending a claim adjuster to make sure the shit was actually stolen...

I have the boxes that the amps and sub came in so that might make it easier

shouldnt the shops insurance be liable for this stuff? it was stolen on their property right? just seems to me like they would be responsible for your car while its in their possession.

This is what happened to my first system. It was quite awhile back and was flea market stuff, but it still sucked. Never again will I do that.
