Stock for stock LT1 vs LS2 price? Not on par either? Let me get a stock LT1 and put the differnce in the motor then what you paid for your car =] How much did you pay for your car anyway? Not to dog you I love them ls2 g20's, with the 6.0, and they sound sooo good with headers and cutouts.

Why bring in price into this? I bought what I wanted. I wanted a new car that was comfortable to drive everyday, with a nice motor that could be made to be fast and the "GTO" was that. Also when new the Z28's cost just as much as my GTO did, it's not my fault the 4th Gens are 5-14 years old and have lost their value.

I'm 100% sure, I didn't pay what you paid for your new Gto. I bought my Z as a demo car with 6,000 miles for under 17k. So I could easily go put that 10K in the motor and be on par with your LS2 anyday. It just sounded like you were trying to bash the Lt1. Like I said, I'm not bashing your G20 at all bro. If I had the money right now, that's the only car I would buy.

They are two different cars. One is new the other is used, of course there will be a price difference. I don't miss my f-body at all, I'm much more happy with the GTO and it was well worth the money IMO.

Wow, how did i miss all of this fun? Ill first start off by saying i have no false assumptions about my car. No where did i say it was fast and by no means is it, but it is a fun car and pretty quick for what it is. Second off if I wanted to have the ride quality of a panzer tank and the status of an inbred I guess I could have gotten the almighty z28. I would take that GTO over your lt1 piece of garbage anyday thats not even an argument.

Well im glad to see you did go back and read far enough to realize it is not a 91, which ran almost a second slower in the 1/4. Too bad for you the previous owner of the car already ran it below a "high 15 second" try again. This is not a race car if you noticed it is a 4 door FAMILY CAR. How about you enjoy your shitting handling, horrible ride, and 12 mpg and I will enjoy my smooth ride, good handling and 26mpg.
