My rice bucket *PICS*

The only reason a Geo can spin the tires is because the tires are shit and about an inch wide. If I put little 13" 155 series tires on my car I could spin them all day too.
The black side skirts, molding and front and back lips still look like shit, paint or remove the **** things.

I can spin the tires on my Geo and the tires are not shit (Fusion ZR1s) and they certainly aren't an inch wide either (40-series 17s) so there goes that argument.

LOL at admitting you drive a geo, I won't bother arguing about it anymore, you win!

Hopefully it is a mid 90's 3 cylinder, those were the greatest

"Admitting" I drive a Geo isn't any big deal to me. It suits the purpose for which it was purchased. It's reliable. It's good on gas. It's cheap on insurance.

No, it isn't a 3-cylinder. The 3-cylinder Suzuki motor was fitted into the Metros. I drive a Prizm which is mechanically identical to a Toyota Corolla.

Seeing as Toyota has sold more Corollas worldwide than pretty much every other car ever produced combined (Guiness Book of Records certified) I would suggest this is indicative of it being at least decent, wouldn't you???

i owned a geo as well, a 91 prizm. it was my in between car from my rx7 to my p5

it was a peice of shit and i wouldnt go around saying i owned one is all, but just like you it served it's purpose

drove the hell out of it for a year without any problems, put 6000+ miles on it without a single oil change, watched the body rust away and fall apart and traded it for as much as i paid for it

honestly i never tried to spin the tires cause i felt like enough of an *** just driving the **** thing in public

This is my Prizm as it looked when I bought it ~

It's okay that you think it's a heap. I didn't feel the need for your approval then or now. I like it and since it is my car that's all that matters. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ZOMG! how dare you call his Prizm a Metro.. Prizm is like the Maybach of Geo.

Pffft.

There wasn't a single Geo product sold through GM that was actually made by GM.

The Metro was the same thing as the Suzuki Swift.

The Tracker was the same as the Suzuki Sidekick.

The Prizm was the same (built in the same factory in Fremont, CA) as the Toyota Corolla.

The Storm was the same as the last generation of the Isuzu Impulse.

The suspension mods that would be necessary to get them under the car would be more than the little car books for!

Somehow, though, I'm sure someone, somewhere will attempt such an idiotic endeavor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I wasn't trying to imply you needed my approval. I was saying MY prizm was a POS and I wouldn't go around squeaking the tires for attention because I was embarrassed enough. I had never seen yours or driven yours so I wouldn't know what it is like.

If I only had $700 cash to spend on a car I would definately buy it again. It was worth that much and more to me at the time.

I've had enough of 12mpg RX7's and I wanted something with some space and better gas mileage

I dont really have any recent pics of my car, but here is one from last winter at a horrble angle with my snow tires on.

Go ahead and call it a grandma car;)

My Prizm is a POS as compared to some of the other cars on the road. It's an econobox, plain and simple and won't ever be anything but an econobox.

Don't get me wrong - I do not make a habit of trying to turn the tires over as the clutch would likely let go if it was something I did often. I simply know that it will turn the tires over if you tach it up high enough before dumping the clutch. A Nissan Sentra I had in high school would do the same thing but it, like this current car, was in no shape, fashion, or form a performance-minded automobile. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

It has a NA 1.6L twincam I-4 dragging around a compact sedan. It is what it is.

Nice Mazda, btw. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
