well it was but then i changed it to a 2.8ohm load...

so right now it is getting a lil over 1000rms...

Um, you did actually read his link right?

Who says that the rating used on the older DEI amp manual is accurate anyway? I will say that it was a good call to bump the impedance up around 2 ohms to keep your amp operating. Hopefully a new box will correct most of your problems!

yeah its doing more than 1200 watts but is it a Clean signal, at the .7 ohms he was probably clipping the amp like a mofo, at 2.8 ohms u can't really tell unless u test the amp at that load, plus u gotta put in the fact of imp. rise of the box

and mazda how is custel a moron, yeah u maybe right that it's pushing more power than the 1000 everyone is saying but the kid is clipping his amp which could destroy the kids MT...

why not leave the amp alone. i think 1200 watts is good enough for a daily driver, am i wrong? just get a better box
