The sub works of course. It's a one of a kind prototype. I've had it for over 3 years. I put it away but finally have time to take it out and play with it. I'll make a video of it soon. Just wanted to share.

No..not even close.

Just a sub with a big bumped back plate..instead of shaving the steel off in a "V" pattern they machined it off square and left material to glue the magnet to...

To me it sort of looks like instead of exactly what you said, that there are cylinders attached the the bottom of the first magnet similar to how most neo motors are configured. It's difficult to see though because of the reflection in the chrome.
