with all the stuff in there, and nitto 555 tires, the car has a ford motorsport longblock 260hp at the crank ran a 14.22. So i think it could be possible. Still the car weighs prob 3400 with me and the system in it, and i can take it out in 10 mins anyway to so ill see what it does

Im putting dual xxx's in a truck right now. You are talking 400lbs for the speakers and box alone, bare minimum. And if you are aiming for 150, you better think about adding some big heavy batts too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
In that car, keeping it fast and doing mid 140's would still be impressive.

idk my box weighs prob 80 and speakers 55 a piece, plus 1 2400 and kx2500. yea, but the car stock weighs 2900 lbs, so 400+ me 155 is like 3450 so still pretty light over all

im assuming by u saying good dyno tune that your keeping the fuel injection, if you dont , you could easily run solid 12's with a carb andhave an easier time tuning

Your box for two xxx's weighs 80lbs? Just built two 4 cube boxes for xxx's today, 2.5 sheets. And xxx's weigh 69lbs each. Unless you mean the new xxx's, I dont remember their weight. Either way, no way your box is only 80lbs. Even if its trupan or Birch.

very nice, what's final compression, and LSA with that cam? Dual springs, good to .700 lift and only having .542 and 224@.050, will that be too much seat pressure?

Hey thats my hobby too. More of a chevy guy though.......

988 hp @ 6700, bunch of TQ as well, just dont remember the exact # on a tough dyno as well.

ha your a bastard i can only dream of an engine like that although it wont be to streetable, my dads got a boat with a 454 and 400 hp its a chapparall villian 3 I can only imagine what that thing is gonna do on the water, hope u dont hit a little swell flying in that thing...

we had a 24 foot chapparal with a small block. I loved that boat, actually grew up every weekend on it. Our current project is a 1/4 mile boat. No waves for us. Point and go that direction. It is a 8 second 1/4 mile boat on motor alone.

I test water, sell chemicals, and sometimes clean chaparral/robalo's test pool for their boats.

8 sec boat...taht would be scary on water lol let alone in a car, but yea i give you props for that boat def looks real nice. Maybe when i get a little older i was lookin into gettin a checkmate but i have no where to keep it right now
